T-KTV

interaction techniques:

In our implementation, we create a linear but interactive music video, which is projected on the wall. And it is supposed to be enclosed in a small partition. Music is loud and beats are strong. The immerse environment is created. The music video contains Tai-Ker icons and pictures of Tai-Ker idols. The lyrics go with a nodding head indicator to lead singing and dancing. On the other hand, video will be kept still and dull if it doesn”¦t get enough attention. It will play fancier whenever participants get more involved and all dance like Tai-Kers. In addition, the more people are engaged, the more special effects will be applied.

The cross-interaction intends to form a positive cycle to enhance the KTV experiences. Some general rules are defined for the techniques of the music video:

1) If one moves his/her body, the image will get clear
2) If one nods his/her head, images will switch faster.
3) If one shakes his head, the environmental light flashes fancier.
4) If there are more people participate, the media elements (i.e. Tai-Ker symbols, visual effects, text strings and recorded screaming voices) will get mixed more and more.
